Family of woman who pushed teen off of 60-foot bridge says she ‘doesn’t care’ and ‘isn’t sorry’: Report

‘I don’t think Jordan knows yet that Taylor has been going out partying, but all of her family are outraged.’

The family of a woman caught on video pushing a teen girl off of a bridge, causing significant injuries, claims that the culprit “doesn’t care” about the incident.

The Sun reports that the family of Taylor Smith, 18, opened up about the tragedy that left a 16-year-old girl, Jordan Holgerson, with five broken ribs and other injuries after Smith reportedly pushed her off of a bridge last Tuesday. The teen, according to a recorded video of the incident, was standing on the bridge at Moulton Falls, with the Lewis River in Yacolt, Washington, below her.

Holgerson apparently changed her mind about jumping from the bridge for fun, but Smith took it upon herself to shove Holgerson from behind, causing her to plunge 60 feet.

‘Taylor has been going out as if nothing happened,” a family member said. Taylor hasn’t been to visit Jordan to see if she is ok. She clearly doesn’t care…..She messaged Jordan to say sorry but nobody thinks it was a sincere apology. I don’t think Jordan knows yet that Taylor has been going out partying but all of her family are outraged.”

Meanwhile, Holgerson’s aunt, Kristie Morgan, told DailyMail that although the teen is in constant pain, she doesn’t want to get “revenge” on Smith.

“She has a hard time breathing and it gives her a panic attack which makes it even harder to breathe. She is really suffering physically and emotionally.”

“Jordan is truly the sweetest girl in the world,” Morgan continued. “It doesn’t matter what someone does to her she always has someone’s best interest at heart. She doesn’t wish to seek revenge on her friend. But in my opinion her friend needs to learn a lesson. She could have killed her… She would be in jail right now. But that is how Jordan feels.”

The The Clark County sheriff’s office is still investigating the incident.
