Authorities in New York were looking for a man accused of attempting to rape a woman pushing her child in a stroller on an overpass in the Bronx this week.
According to the New York Post, police say the alleged shirtless offender was caught on surveillance camera.
The alleged victim said he came up to her a few minutes after 8 a.m. near the New England Thruway and Steenwick Avenue in the Eastchester neighborhood and knocked her to the ground.
He pushed the stroller away during the assault, a police report claims.
According to investigators, the man is accused of grabbing the 20-year-old mother and attempting to pull down her pants.
He also allegedly fondled her breasts and attempted to kiss her before running away from the scene along Rombouts Avenue in the area of Givan Avenue.
Reports indicate he was scared off during the attack when he saw someone approach the scene.
The suspect is described as a 160-pound man in his early 30s who stands about 5 feel 7 inches tall.
In addition to the absence of a shirt, reports indicate the man has an average build and long, curly black hair.
Police say the woman and child escaped the incident without serious injury.
