Suspect in Wisconsin mass shooting killed by police; three remain injured

The suspected gunman who opened fire in a Middleton, Wisconsin, building on Wednesday was fatally shot by police, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Middleton Police Chief Chuck Foulke told the newspaper that the suspect was fatally shot by police.

Three more people were injured after the unidentified suspect opened fire at WTS Paradigm, a software company in the Madison suburb.

The conditions of the injured individuals are not yet known. A representative for University Hospital told the Chicago Tribune that the medical facility accepted four people involved in the shooting but did not provide any further details.

Police are continuing to interview witnesses and have not yet released a motive or details about the circumstances of the shooting.
