BREAKING: Three infants among five wounded in stabbing at New York City day care

Multiple people, including infants, have been injured in a stabbing at a private day care in Queens, New York.

The New York Post reports that three infants under the age of a year and two adults were wounded when an unidentified 52-year-old woman attacked a female, a male and three babies with a kitchen knife. 

The woman injured is identified as the suspect’s co-worker and the male victim is reportedly the father of one of the babies. One of the babies is only three days old, according to CBS New York.

All five victims are being treated at  New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital. The two adults and two of the babies are reportedly in stable condition, while the third baby is listed in serious but stable condition.

It is not known if the day care was licensed.
