The 29-year-old son of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is facing charges including domestic violence assault after a reported altercation at his home.
According to Us Weekly, Track Palin was arrested on Friday after authorities in Wasilla, Alaska, received a disturbance report.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, Palin has was arrested last year on suspicion of physically attacking his father.
State troopers arrived at his home at about 11:30 p.m. on the evening of the latest arrest.
Reports allege he assaulted a woman at the location and then attempted to prevent her from calling 911.
Police believe he took away the victim’s cellphone when she started to dial.
The suspect had previously served a probated sentence stemming from a 2016 arrest on similar charges. At that time, he was accused of brandishing a firearm during an argument with a woman he was dating.
In an interview with Us, Track Palin’s sister, Bristol, called him a “grown man” and declined to opine on his history of arrests.
“My brother is a grown man and I really don’t have anything to even say about it,” she said.
Following his arrest, Palin was booked into jail without bail. In addition to assault, Palin is expected to face charges including disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
