URGENT: Missing little boy considered ‘in danger,’ likely with mom and man ordered to stay away from him [Police]

A father searching for his 6-year-old is hoping he’ll have him home by Christmas. He hasn’t seen his son since August.

KY3 reports that Braedence Jones disappeared on August 3 from Bourbon, Missouri, and is said to possibly be with his mother, 30-year-old Aubrey Ferguson. According to the boy’s father, Ryan Jones, the little boy’s grandmother, Norma Ferguson, picked Braedence up for a one-week visit with his mother, as outlined in a parenting plan that both Aubrey and Ryan agreed to. Yet, Ferguson never returned the boy home, which was part of the agreement.

“He was on a week long visitation with his mother, and sometime during that week, she decided to take off,” Jones said.

CrimeOnline spoke with Lieutenant Arlyne Page with the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, who said Ferguson has an active warrant out for her arrest for child abduction, as well as another warrant stemming from the child abduction charge. Further, she’s thought to be in the company of her reported boyfriend, 41-year-old Woodrow Ziegler, a direct violation of the parenting plan, which states the child cannot be in contact with or around Ziegler.

According to court documents, Ziegler has previous drug charges and burglary charges.

“I really don’t know him,” Jones told the outlet. “I know he is in the parenting plan – he specifically is in the parenting plan to not have any contact with Braedence because of prior drug history.”
