[UPDATE] Family releases new images of missing mom and pics of newborn twins born just days before her disappearance

The family of a 22-year-old Kentucky mom is sharing additional recent images more than two weeks after she was last seen in an effort to solicit tips regarding her whereabouts.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Savannah Spurlock disappeared on January 4 and was seen on surveillance footage that evening leaving Lexington’s The Other Bar with a pair of unidentified men.

Earlier this month, her mother, Ellen, spoke out about the toll the disappearance has taken on her family, as reported by WKYT.

Spurlock is the mother of four children, including twins born just days before she was last seen. Her mom said it has been especially tough on the oldest kids, boys ages 2 and 4.

“He doesn’t know what’s going on, but my fear is how long can that take place, you know?” she said.

Ellen Spurlock went on to say that the 2-year-old “misses his mommy,” adding that he “saw her on TV one night and said, ‘Mommy.'”

The U.K. Daily Mail linked to a Facebook page established to share information about the missing persons case. In recent days, posts have included one of the latest known images of the missing woman along with photos of her newborn twins.

One recent post cited “slanderous and disparaging comments” in its public request for Facebook to take down the page.

The Richmond Police Department is handling the investigation and reports that officers are pursuing each tip that comes in. Ellen Spurlock is pleading on anyone with possible information related to her daughter’s whereabouts to reach out to local authorities.

Meanwhile, she said she is making it through each day the best she can.

“I cope with it by praying and believing that she is still out there and somebody knows something and will come forward,” she added.

Those with information about the missing woman or the men seen leaving the bar with her are urged to contact authorities by calling 859-624-4776 or by emailing detective@richmond.ky.us.
