Rapper Bow Wow and female suspect arrested after each accused the other of assault: Cops

Authorities in Georgia say rapper Shad Moss, known professionally as Bow Wow, was arrested Saturday morning on suspicion of battery.

According to CNN, Atlanta police officers were dispatched to a midtown location in response to a call.

Upon their arrival, officers say a female at the scene claimed Moss had assaulted her. He claimed the opposite, reportedly telling police that she was responsible for assaulting him.

Both individuals showed minor injuries and a statement from police spokesperson Jarius Daugherty indicated they were both arrested.

“Officers were unable to determine the primary aggressor of the altercation, so both parties were charged with battery,” he said.

They were transported to Fulton County Jail and booked into custody. As of the latest reports available, Moss remained behind bars at the facility with a signature bond set at $8,000, though officials indicated he would likely be able to be released later the same day.

Representatives for the rapper, who has also acted in television shows including “CSI: Cyber,” did not immediately respond to requests for a comment.

An Atlanta Police Department source told Deadline Hollywood that both the woman, later identified as Leslie Holden, and Moss “did sustain visible minor injuries.”
