A man in Alabama reportedly fatally shot himself outside of the entrance to an elementary school.

AL.com reports that the unidentified man drove himself to W.J. Christian K-8 School in Birmingham on Wednesday, and shot himself in front of the school’s entrance. He was reportedly killed, and the school has since been placed on lockdown.

There are no reports of additional injuries at this time, and AL.com reports that the individual is not a student or an employee of the school.
