Alleged meth user leaves 3-month-old baby in critical condition with ‘bruises all over’ after sodomizing, abusing her: Police

A baby girl is in critical condition after police say a Georgia man physically abused and sodomized the infant while babysitting her last month.

Emmanuel Live reports that William Branden Woods, 39, is behind bars after police found the infant girl unresponsive at the Latitude 105 apartment complex in Swainsboro, on February 27. The child’s mother, Brandy Lee, 32, is also behind bars for reportedly leaving the baby alone with Woods, an alleged meth user.

First responders rushed the baby to Emanuel Medical Center, where she was rescuitated. She was then flown to Augusta Medical Center with severe injuries “consistent with aggravated battery,” according to the outlet. Physicians also noticed signs that the little had been sexually assaulted.

According to investigators, Williams “physically and sexually abused the child,” CBS 12 reports.

Williams now faces numerous charges, including aggravated sodomy, cruelty to children, aggravated child molestation, and aggravated battery of a child, and possession of methamphetamine. Lee is facing a cruelty to children charge.

The little is still in critical condition, but stable, according to authorities. Additional charges may follow as the investigation continues.
