A Florida teacher was arrested Thursday after she allegedly created child porn, using her 1-year-old son in videos she sent to a former boyfriend, who’s facing charges of sexually assaulting his young daughter.
According to a complaint filed by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and obtained by CrimeOnline, 34-year-old Audra Mabel was charged with distributing and producing child porn. The Kindergarten teacher lost her job at Spring Lake Elementary School in Altamonte Springs following the charge.
Mabel’s arrest came after an investigation involving her former boyfriend, 34-year-old Justin Ritchie, a married man with three children. According to the complaint, Ritchie was arrested March 8 for sexually assaulting his 4-year-old daughter.
Ritchie’s wife contacted police after her daughter confided in her and said Ritchie “touched and licked her vulva.” After police interviewed the little girl, she said her father had touched her many times and instructed her to hold his cellphone while he “placed his penis in her mouth.”

Authorities later found numerous photos and videos on Ritchie’s iPhone that reportedly showed him sexually assaulting his 4-year-old daughter, as well as his 1-year-old. They also found around 10 videos that allegedly showed Mabel using her 1-year-old boy “to engage in or assist her to engage in sexually explicit conduct.”
The majority of the videos, according to the complaint, showed the toddler “lying on his back, on a changing table,” while Mabel zeroed in on the boy’s penis with her cellphone. Mabel fondled the boy’s private parts “until it became erect,” and “in another video, Mabel secretes breast milk onto the child’s penis.”
When questioned by police, Mabel admitted that she made the videos in 2017, when she was dating Ritchie, the complaint read. Mabel lived in Michigan at the time, while Ritchie lived in Florida. Mabel said they “sometimes incorporated role-play and fantasies of child sex abuse into their sexual relations.”
While teaching a first-grade class in Michigan in 2017, Mabel allegedly exposed herself on camera, then turned the camera toward a group of children and briefly recorded them, according to the criminal complaint. In 2018, the relationship between Ritchie and Mabel ended after Ritchie wouldn’t leave his wife.
Ritchie is behind bars at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility, charged with sexual battery on a child.
