Mom walks in on boyfriend molesting her daughter, slashes him with a large sword: Police

A Georgia woman said she walked in on her boyfriend molesting her 5-year-old daughter and slashed him with a sword while trying to get him out of the home.

According to the Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office, the unnamed mother called 911 and said she walked in on John Lawarren Williams, 25, molesting her little girl, so she grabbed a large sword and went after him. The woman managed to slice him one time, leaving a cut on his left hand.

Williams fled before deputies arrived. The incident occurred at around midnight on Thursday, at a residence off of Strawberry Lane in Macon.

“When deputies made contact with the complainant, it was discovered the complainant’s boyfriend had been caught molesting a five-year-old female child,” the Twiggs County Sheriff wrote in a statement on Facebook.

First responders took the child and her mother to Navicent Pediatric Hospital. The child’s condition is unknown at this time.

Williams turned himself in several hours later and police reportedly noted a cut on his hand. He’s been charged with aggravated child molestation and cruelty to children. According to the arrest affidavit, the suspect caused “excessive physical or mental pain.”

Williams remains behind bars without bail. Meanwhile, the mother was not charged.
