Poorly parked truck leads to discovery of drug distribution in owner’s apartment: Cops

Authorities in Texas say a man’s poor parking job led to his arrest on suspicion of much more serious offenses.

According to KBTX, police officers noticed a truck parked near an apartment complex on Wellborn Road on Wednesday evening that partially obstructed traffic.

Upon further inspection, they identified 19-year-old Jack Proctor — a resident in the building — as its owner.

Officers approached his unit so they could ask him to move the truck and noted the odor of marijuana coming from inside when he opened the door.

In addition to finding a small amount of weed inside the residence, police reported dozens of pills they identified as ecstasy.

The 68 pills were allegedly discovered alongside various baggies with different prices printed on them.

Reports indicate Proctor was arrested at the scene. He is expected to face criminal charges including one count of drug manufacture and delivery and one count of marijuana possession.
