‘She jumped on me and raped me’: CNA found naked after molesting elderly dementia patient at nursing home [Police]

A Florida woman was arrested Monday after a dementia patient at an assisted living facility claimed she “jumped on” him and raped him.

FOX 35 reports that according to the Melbourne Police Department, 39-year-old Guettie Belizaire, who worked at the Brookshire Assisted Living Facility in Melbourne, has been charged with abuse of an elderly person and lewd and lascivious molestation of an elderly person.

Court documents indicate that co-workers couldn’t find Belizaire for over an hour during her work shift on December 13, 2018. She was eventually naked found inside the bathroom of a male dementia patient, getting dressed at around 5 a.m. The employees noticed the man appeared “distraught and confused” and asked him what happened.

When the victim said the woman had unwanted sexual contact with him, staff workers notified management, who in turn, contacted police.

The victim told authorities that Belizaire sexually assaulted him.

“She jumped on me and raped me,” the man said, according to court documents.

Belizaire reportedly denied the allegations and challenged authorities to find proof that she did anything. She allegedly claimed she wasn’t even in the man’s room.

Investigators took a DNA swab from the suspect, who was suspended while the investigation took place. The victim was taken to the Holmes Regional Medical Center where a rape kit was performed. Police arrested her on Monday when the DNA results came back as a match to DNA collected on the man. There are no other victims known at this time.

“Detectives did work with the staff to ensure there were no other known victims at the time,” Melbourne police spokesperson Cmdr. Marcus Claycomb said, according to Florida Today. “If (anyone) believes a family member may have been a victim, please let us know.”

Belizaire was released on $10,000 bond. She’s scheduled back in court in April.

Management fired the suspect after learning of the DNA test results.
