Wednesday Crime Stories: Louisiana girl taken from school bus by 47-year-old male ‘family friend’ for ‘love’ odyssey [Report]

A 15-year-old Louisiana girl is home safe after leaving with a man 30 years her senior earlier in March. The pair traveled to Pagosa Springs, Colorado, where authorities found them after reported tips. According to Port Barre Police Chief Deon Bordeaux, the teen was found safe and unharmed on April 5.

Police arrested 47-year-old Cory “Shane” Disotell, an alleged “family friend” and father of three. According to the teen’s sister, the girl thought she was “madly in love” with the older man. Nancy weighs in on the reported kidnapping with her expert panel, including,
