FOUND SAFE: Mom, young daughter missing in Alabama under mysterious circumstances

Authorities are searching for a missing mother and daughter who were last seen in an Alabama park on Thursday.

According to WVTM-TV, police are seeking the the public’s help in locating Kristen Hirsh, 43, and her daughter Julia Hirsh, 7. They were last seen on Thursday in Rushton Park on Highland Avenue in Birmingham, and reportedly contacted a family member by phone at around 5:15 p.m.

Authorities have not provided details about the circumstances of the disappearance. A Facebook profile that appears to belong to Kristen Hirsh indicates that she is a psychologist with a private practice and a married mother of two.

According to AL.com, Hirsh is 5 feet 5 inches tall and 125 pounds, and was last seen wearing a blue dress with an anchor design and sandals.

Julia Hirsh is reportedly 3 feet 6 inches tall and 50 pounds, and was last seen wearing a pink shirt, pink shorts, and red boots.

Kristen was driving a black Toyota Rav-4 with tag number 1CZ7207.
