Human remains found in submerged vehicle that belongs to missing Alabama mother

A car belonging to a missing mother in Alabama has been found with human remains inside.

AL.com reports that investigators found a blue Chevy Cruz belonging to missing Mobile woman Danniella Vian, who was last seen in July 2018 leaving a gas station in West Mobile to return to a bar where the 24-year-old reportedly believed she left her cell phone.

According to the report, humans remains were found inside the vehicle, which was discovered underwater in Bayou Sara, which is in a remote part of Mobile County, when members of law enforcement were conducting diving drills.

Mobile Police Chief Lawrence Battiste confirmed to AL.com on Friday morning that the vehicle belongs to Vian. It is not known at this time when authorities expect to have an identification on the human remains.

CrimeOnline will provide further updates when more information is available.
