[VIDEO] ‘Dynasty’ star Catherine Oxenberg calls ex-Nxivm member daughter to reveal news of cult leader’s conviction

Following the conviction of sex cult leader Keith Raniere on multiple criminal counts this week, the famous mother of one alleged victim called to reveal the verdict in an emotional call.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, “Dynasty” star Catherine Oxenberg’s daughter, India, was reportedly a member of Nxivm and was placed on a starvation diet for a year in an effort to decrease her weight to Raniere’s ideal sex-slave physique.

“Guilty, guilty on all charges,” said the exuberant actress to her daughter, as reported by the U.K. Daily Mail. “I’m so happy. How do you feel?”

Reports indicate it was the actress who initially introduced India to the cult, believing it to be a motivational course that could aid in her daughter’s entrepreneurial ambitions.

India’s reaction to Oxenburg’s revelation about Raniere isn’t captured in the video, but her mother’s response captured the mood.

“You’re in shock,” she said. “I’m in shock, too. I love you.”

The actress’ entire response to the verdict included a few celebratory expletives.

“F*** him,” she said. “He’s done. F***ing a**hole.”

Raniere could spend the rest of his life behind bars upon sentencing for his conviction on a range of charges including sex trafficking, racketeering and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

His attorney described it as “a very sad day” for Raniere, who “maintains his innocence.”
