NBC12 reports that Noah Tomlin was last seen off of the 100 block of Atlantic Avenue in Hampton, wearing a diaper and a green and white pajama shirt.

According to Police Chief Terry Sult of the Virginia State Police, authorities are leaving no stones unturned, and considering everything from the child wandering away to possible foul play.

“We’re considering everything from the child just walking away to all the way up to including foul play,” Sult said. “We’re not ruling anything out until we find the child. We’re going to take it as worst case and hope for the best case.”

The child’s mother is said to be working with authorities. She’s not considered a suspect at this time.

Investigators and search crews have carried out a number of searches without luck. They’ve now contacted the FBI to assist with the investigation, according to CBS3.

“We’re doing everything we can to bring this child home safely,” Sult added.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Hampton police 757- 727-6111.
