Police reports show reality television star Amber Portwood was arrested this week in Indiana.

According to Newsweek, 29-year-old Amber Portwood, known for her appearances on MTV’s “Teen Mom,” is accused of domestic battery and as of the latest reports available remained in a processing facility following her arrest in Indianapolis on Friday.

She is accused of assaulting her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, while he was holding the couple’s 1-year-old son, as reported by TMZ.

The suspect and alleged victim began dating about two years ago and soon added baby James to a family that included the daughter audiences saw on cable a decade ago.

Portwood seemed optimistic about the future in a recent interview.

“James is great, he’s so smart, he’s walking already,” she said, going on to say that she had “waited 10 years to have a kid” and believed that to be “a good thing.”

As for Glennon, Portwood said she wanted her “next child to be with somebody that I new I was going to stay with.”

She went on to say call him her “soulmate” and “a beautiful person.”
