Air Force vet found dead in ditch near his home; wife and Air Force sergeant arrested: Cops

Authorities in Ohio say a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force has been arrested on suspicion of conspiring with a woman to kill the female suspect’s husband.

According to Fox News, Clermont County Sheriff’s Office reports indicate 42-year-old Jason Hamrick — reportedly a veteran of the Air Force — was found late last month dead in a ditch near his family’s Tate Township residence.

His wife, 32-year-old Angelina Hamrick, and 33-year-old Tech Sgt. Michael Clark were arrested Saturday in connection with the death, as reported by ABC News.

Investigators believe the woman killed the victim in their home two days before the body was found on June 30. She is facing aggravated murder charges. Initial reports did not reveal a suspected cause of death. Clark is expected to be charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated murder.

Both are expected to appear in court on Monday for an arraignment hearing.

Clark was assigned to Dyess Air Force Base in Texas, which released a statement amid news of the arrest.

“They are very serious allegations and go against everything we stand for as United States Air Force airmen,” the statement read.
