Billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein BUSTED for underage sex trafficking amid FBI raid; new charges could bring hefty prison sentence

Convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who got a slap on the wrist in a sexual molestation case over a decade ago, is facing new charges that could land him in prison for the rest of his life.

As reported by the Daily Beast, Epstein, 66, was arrested on Saturday and is expected to appear in federal court on Monday. Citing law enforcement sources, the New York Post reports that Epstein will face charges connected to the alleged sex trafficking of dozens of minors between 2012 and 2015. According to the Daily Beast, he is expected to be charged with one count of sex trafficking of minors and one count of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of minors, which carries a sentence of up to 45 years.

While Epstein was reportedly arrested at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, sources told the New York Post that numerous FBI agents busted down the door to his Upper East Side mansion on Saturday evening.

“They broke the door down — FBI, cops,” a doorman who works nearby, and requested not to be identified, told the newspaper. “They just went in with bags.”

The doorman also told the New York Post that he often sees young women coming in and out of Epstein’s mansion.

“They looked like models,” he said. “I’m not sure [of their ages] because of all that makeup.”

Epstein, who has homes in New York and Palm Beach, previously served only 13 months in jail on a work-release program after pleading guilty in 2008 to two state prostitution charges, following an investigation that had reportedly identified 36 alleged victims, some underage. The plea deal meant that he avoided more serious federal charges connected to allegations that he sexually molested underage girls.

In a February interview with NPR, Miami Herald reporter Julie Brown said that Epstein “essentially came up with this sex operation where he would recruit girls — underage girls in Palm Beach, have them come to his home for a massage.

“Ostensibly that’s what they were being asked to do, but he molested them. And authorities suspect that he molested hundreds of girls over a five- or six-year period in Palm Beach alone and possibly operated an international sex-trafficking organization around the world.”

According to the Daily Beast, the new indictment is expected to allege that Epstein exploited “dozens” of minor girls in a scenario similar to what the Miami Herald reporter described.

The New York Time reports that as of Saturday night, Epstein was in federal custody. It is not known at this time if he is expected to be granted bail.
