SEE IT: New photos of Bella and Celeste Watts taken by killer dad hours before he murdered his family

Family annihilator Chris Watts took photos of his two young daughters and sent them to their mother less than a day before he murdered his family.

The Daily Mail obtained previously unreleased photos from Watts’ cell phone via an open records request. According to the report, Watts took photos of Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3, 18 hours before their murders and sent them to his pregnant wife Shannan Watts, who was in Arizona on business while Watts and the girls were at home in Frederick, Colorado.

The news outlet also obtained a previously unreleased cell phone photo of Shanann Watts, but the report does not specify when it was taken.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Shanann returned home from her business trip in the early morning hours of August 13, 2018. Hours later, as Watts said in an interview with law enforcement agents in February while from the Wisconsin prison where he is serving multiple life sentences, he strangled his wife to death after telling her had been having an affair and wanted to end their marriage. Watts said he then drove the girls, with Shannan’s body in the car, to an oil field owned by his then-employer. After burying Shanann and her unborn child in a shallow grave, he then smothered Celeste and Bella to death before dropping their bodies in oil tanks.

The Weld County District Attorney’s office had previously released thousands of pages of discovery documents, which CrimeOnline obtained from the prosecutor’s office. Those documents included photos taken by Watts in the days leading up to the murders. According to the Daily Mail report, the news outlet obtained the more recent photos through Colorado Open Records Act.
