Officer Gina Tepoorten told ABC 7 that although the investigation is still in its beginning stages, they do know that trash is sent to the recycling center from cities in Santa Clara County.

“We do know that trash is brought from various cities throughout Santa Clara County. So again, they’re going to conduct a very extensive investigation and determine in fact how this young infant showed up at their facility.”
