Kansas authorities are asking the public to be on the lookout for a 14-year-old girl who disappeared nearly a week ago.

National Center for Missing & Exploited Children reports that Makiya Reeves disappeared on October 27 from the Topeka area. She could still be in Topeka or could have traveled to several different cities, including Fort Scott, Emporia or Pittsburg.

Marissa is described as a biracial female who stands 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs around 143 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
