Active school shooting in California: Two victims in critical condition, gunman is a student at Saugus High School

Authorities have confirmed that the shooter responsible for a shooting at a California high school, who is still at large, is a student at Saugus High School.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, gunfire broke out early Thursday morning at the high school in Santa Clarita, which is north of Los Angeles.

According to CNN, authorities have confirmed that the shooting suspect, who has not been named, is a student at the high school.

The suspect is believed to be an Asian male who is dressed in all black. Authorities are searching the area for the suspect and multiple schools remain on lockdown.

The Los Angeles County Sheriffs department reportedly said on Twitter that the scene is still very active, and urged residents in the area to lock their doors as the manhunt continues.

According to the CNN report, two people have been taken to the hospital in critical condition, and three more victims are expected.
