BREAKING: Gannon Stauch stepmother arrested on suspicion of MURDER

Authorities have arrested the stepmother of Gannon Stauch, an 11-year-old Colorado boy who has been missing for over a month.

Letecia “Tecia” Stauch has been arrested on suspicion of murder, according to 9News. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is scheduled to hold a press conference today with additional information.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Stauch told police that she last saw Gannon between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. after he asked to go visit a friend. According to Stauch, Gannon left on foot from their home off of Mandan Drive in the Lorson Ranch neighborhood, near Colorado Springs.

Stauch told CrimeOnline that she spent January 27 shopping with Gannon after he stayed home from school with bowel issues. She said they visited a few sporting goods stores and returned home together in the afternoon.

A neighbor’s security footage, however, reportedly caught Stauch returning home on the afternoon of January 27 alone. Gannon has not been seen since.

The story is developing. Check back for updates.
