An Amazon delivery person in California apparently spit on a package he delivered to a home in Los Angeles.
The incident happened Thursday evening, according to TMZ, at a home in Los Angeles’ Hancock neighborhood. After putting a package on the front porch of the home, the unknown man is caught spitting in his hand and rubbing the saliva all over the package.
A friend contacted Amazon on behalf of the package owner and asked a customer service rep. to watch the security footage. The representative, reportedly shocked by the footage, said the delivery man was from a third party service and he could possibly return to the area to work on Friday.

“This is clearly not representative of drivers who deliver for Amazon and the care they take for customers around the world every day,” an Amazon spokesperson told TMZ.
“We are aggressively investigating to understand what may have occurred in this situation. If it truly was a malicious act by the driver, we will be sure he is held accountable, up through and including law enforcement action.”
