Friday Crime Stories: 23-year-old UCONN engineering major murder rampage

Theodore DeMers, 62, dies of sharp force and chop injuries of the head, torso, and extremities after helping a young man claiming to have motorcycle problems. From there, the suspect goes on a crime spree. He steals a car, invades a home, kills another man, and kidnaps a woman. Six days later, the crime spree ends.
