Police in Pennsylvania are continuing the search for a missing teen who hasn’t been seen since Sunday, after she disappeared without any clues to follow.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, 18-year-old Linda Stoltzfoos was last seen in Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, on a farm on Stumptown Road. According to the East Lampeter Township Police Department, the teen attended church services, then vanished.
So far, there has been physical evidence found that could help authorities locate the teen.
“This is uncharacteristic of what we know about Linda due to the fact that she’s missing with no clues, no evidence to lead us in any real direction. So, it’s making it a difficult case to investigate,” Lt. Matt Hess, with the East Lampeter Township Police Department said, according to NBC 8.
A search party waiting for instructions from the search leaders.
Stoltzfoos was last seen wearing a white apron, white cape, and a tan dress. She stands 5-feet-10-inches tall, weighs around 125 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
Throughout the week, search volunteers and first responders were seen scouring the rural area, surrounded by fields and farms. A K-9 unit was also on scene Monday while first responders utilized a drone. The search didn’t provide any clues to the teen’s whereabouts.
“We also know that it is possible that Linda left the area on her own free will. We want Linda to know that if she is watching or listening to this that she is not in any trouble. We’re only concerned for her welfare,” Hess said earlier this week.
There is no evidence to suggest foul play, although it has not been ruled out. Anyone with any information on the teen’s whereabouts should contact the East Lampeter Township Police Department at 717 291-4676., or submit a tip online via Crimewatch.
