On Thursday, federal agents arrested longtime Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell in Bedford, New Hampshire. Epstein’s former girlfriend is facing six counts connected a federal sex trafficking investigation involving underage victims. The charges comes nearly a year after Epstein was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell as he was awaiting trail on sex trafficking charges.
Maxwell, whose whereabouts had previously been unknown in the 11 months since Epstein died, is facing six counts, including two counts of perjury and a charge of conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts.
