MANHUNT after Jack in the Box customer shoots pregnant worker

A pregnant woman was shot during a robbery at a Jack in the Box restaurant in Houston on Tuesday night.

KTRK reports that gunfire broke out at a Jack in the Box on Little York when a customer pulled a gun on a female employee filling his order, demanding money. The employee reportedly turned to run away from the gunman but he fired at her, and she was shot in the backside.

 The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. According to Click2Houston, the suspect appears to be in his 50s. Police are reportedly working to get a description of his vehicle.

The pregnant worker and her unborn child are expected to survive.
