‘I killed my family’: Mom, two children dead after suspect said they were being ‘too loud’

The suspect, who is related to the victims, reportedly told police that he had a headache and his family members were ‘yelling’

A Texas woman and her two teenage children are dead, and a suspect has reportedly confessed to killing all three.

CBS 11 News Dallas reports that James Webb, 57, has been arrested following an apparent triple homicide at a residence in East Dallas Monday. According to the report, the woman was the suspect’s wife, though it is not clear at the time if he is the father of the child victims.

Fox 4 News has identified the adult female victim as Victoria Bunton, 5o. The juvenile victims, believed to be 13 and 16 years old, have not been identified.

According to an affidavit obtained by CBS 11 News Dallas, Webb told police that he and his wife got into an argument Monday morning because he woke up with a headache and his family members were being too loud.

Citing an arrest warrant, Fox 4 News reports that Webb told police he “was tired of all three of the victims yelling and telling him that there was nothing wrong with him, so he shot them.”

All three victims were reportedly found in a residence at the Rosemont apartment complex.

Webb reportedly waited an hour before calling 911, and at some point confessed to police that he killed his family. There are conflicting reports about whether another person first alerted police.

“This is a horrible scene… just a horrific situation,” a Dallas police spokesperson told CBS 11 News Dallas.

It is unclear if Webb has yet been charged with murder.
