DEVELOPING: 4-year-old child dead, several others injured as gunman storms Ohio home and opens fire

The shooting survivors told police they did not know the suspect

A 4-year-old boy is dead and four adults have been injured after a gunman opened fire in an Ohio home early Monday morning.

As WLVT-5 reports, the suspect allegedly walked into a home on Perry Street in Struthers and opened fire, fatally shooting the child and injuring four adults, including the boy’s mother.

Police told the news station that two men were in critical condition, and two women suffered injuries to their legs.

The suspect reportedly ran from the home, and it does not appear that he has been apprehended.

Authorities have not identified any victims of the shooting or yet released a suspect description.

The victims reportedly told police they do not know the gunman. A motive for the fatal shooting is not yet known.
