6-year-old boy, woman killed execution-style in Michigan home; boy’s father found dead in burned car

A 6-year-old old boy and a woman in her twenties were discovered dead in their Michigan home after police went to the residence to inform them the boy’s father had died.

According to Fox 2 Detroit, police discovered the bodies in a home in Warren late Thursday morning after officers had gone to notify the residents that the boy’s father, who apparently lived there, had been found dead in a burned car in Detroit early that morning.

Detroit police officers first went to the home and called the Warren Police Department to request a welfare check after finding the door open.

Warren police commissioner Bill Dwyer told the news station that both victims were shot execution-style. The woman was the girlfriend of the boy’s father, police said.

The boy’s father was found dead in a burned-out car in Detroit on Thursday morning, and police reportedly believe the three deaths are connected.

Authorities have not identified the victims, and are reportedly searching for multiple suspects.
