‘Friend’ who cut unborn baby out of pregnant mother’s womb, killing them both, claimed she had given birth

Authorities in Oklahoma have released a mugshot of the suspect accused of killing a pregnant mother and her unborn baby.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, 21-year-old Reagan Hancock died on Friday after a suspect, believed to be a friend of the victim, cut her unborn child from her womb. Hancock’s mother told Fox News that her daughter was due in early November.

On Thursday, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) confirmed the suspect’s identity in a news release. Taylor Parker, 27, is facing two counts of murder and one count of kidnapping. According to the release, Parker told a Texas state trooper at a traffic stop on Friday that she had just given birth and the baby wasn’t breathing. She was then transported to a hospital in McCurtain County, Oklahoma, where the baby was pronounced dead.

Authorities have not yet commented on a motive or the relationship between the suspect and the victim, though a statement on a fundraiser for Hancock’s surviving family said that she considered Parker a friend.

The suspect is awaiting transport back to Texas as the investigation continues.

CrimeOnline will provide further updates when more information is available.
