URGENT: SUV stolen with 7-month-old baby inside

Chicago authorities are searching for the person who stole an SUV on Monday from the Marquette Park area.

The incident happened at around 12:46 p.m. in the 2700 block of West 71st Street. Chicago Sun Times reports that the mother of a 7-month-old boy walked into the convenience store and within minutes, someone jumped into her car, a grey SUV, and fled.

The baby was inside the vehicle when it was stolen, according to police.

Authorities have given little information so far about the incident, but a police spokesperson told the Sun Times on Monday afternoon that the vehicle and baby have still not been found.
