According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, police responded to a report of an unconscious child in a parked car at a truck stop off Interstate 95 on Monday. Responding officers found the child unresponsive, and a day shift patrol sergeant administered immediate lifesaving attempts while awaiting paramedics.

The child was transported to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead, according to the report.

Londonderry police Capt. Patrick Cheetham told the New Hampshire Union Leader that the girl has not yet been identified, pending notification of next of kin, and that investigators are still awaiting autopsy results before they determine the cause of death.
