BREAKING: Body found in Staten Island believed to be missing doctor Tamara Saukin

Investigators have reportedly discovered a body in the water at a park where missing Dr. Tamara Saukin was last seen two weeks ago.

According to SILive.com, NYPD divers discovered the human remains in the water at Clove Lakes Park Wednesday morning. Two weeks ago, Saukin, 44, reportedly went for a walk in the park with her mother, but stayed on to continue walking after her mother decided to return to her car around 6:30 a.m.. Police have not yet provided any further details about the circumstances of Saukin’s disappearance.

An NYPD official confirmed to CrimeOnline that a body was found but declined to provide any further details.

The SILive.com report states that law enforcement sources believe the body belongs to Saukin, and have said there were no immediate signs of foul play.
