Missing rideshare driver found dead inside her car: Police

A Missing Pennsylvania woman was found dead inside her car on Sunday afternoon, according to police.

Lehigh Valley Live reports that 58-year-old Eleanor Camacho left her home off of South Cedar Crest Boulevard in Salisbury Township at around 5 p.m. Thursday to pick up a ride. When she failed to return home, she was reported missing on Saturday.

Authorities found Comacho inside her silver 2015 Buick Enclave at around 4:12 p.m. Sunday, near Lumber and Turner streets. She had only been a driver for both Uber and Lyft for a few months.

The cause of death has not yet been released and it’s unclear whether she was working when she died, The Morning Call reports. The family is waiting on reports that can confirm who got into Camacho’s car on Thursday.

Comacho was a mother of four and was expecting her first grandchild.

The case is being investigated by both the Allentown and Salisbury Township police, as well as the Lehigh County District Attorney’s office.
