A New York man killed an infant and seriously injured two other children, according to the Fulton County police.
Times Union reports that authorities arrested Isiah Lockett on Thursday after a 5-month-old baby died in August 2020. First responders arrived at a home in Gloversville and rushed the infant to Albany Medical Center. He passed away three days later.
Investigators allege that Lockett killed the 5-month-old, injured an 8-month-old, and obstructed the 6-year-old’s “breathing or blood circulation.” He’s now charged with:
- First-degree manslaughter
- Second-degree manslaughter
- Criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation
- Second-degree assault (five counts)
- First-degree reckless endangerment (two counts)
- Endangering the welfare of a child (three counts)
News 10 reports that an autopsy was performed on the baby, but the manner of death was not released.
Lockett remains without bail at the Fulton County Correctional Facility.
Due to the ages of the victims, their names have not been released. No additional information was provided.
