BOLO: Police searching for man who grabbed child from behind in broad daylight

Texas authorities are searching for a man accused of an attempted abduction last month

Click 2 Houston reports that the incident happened at around 3 p.m. on February 24, off of Crestwood Drive near Memorial Park in Houston. A male grabbed a child from behind in broad daylight, according to police. When the child fell and started screaming, the suspect fled.

Authorities said the suspect is described as a white male who stands around six feet or taller, with a bald head. He has an average build.

CrimeStoppers indicated that there may be an award of up to $5,000 for valid information that leads to the suspect’s identity and/or arrest. Anyone with information should contact the Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online at Crime-stoppers.org.
