The boyfriend of a young pregnant woman who was found dead is a person of interest in the Dianne Brice death investigation, and has not been seen in over a week.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Brice, 21, was found dead in Philadelphia on Monday about a mile from where police found her boyfriend’s car on fire.

The boyfriend, 23-year-old Justin Smith, is believed to be the last person to see Brice alive. When Brice’s concerned mother called Smith on March 30 looking for her daughter, Smith reportedly said that couple had gotten into a fight.

Later that day, police found Smith’s car in flames near 59th and Florence in Philadelphia. He remains missing, and CBS Philly reports that police have named him a person of interest in Brice’s death.

According to CBS Philly, police confirmed that Brice had been shot but have not officially confirmed the cause of death. According to multiple reports, Brice had a life-threatening medical condition that needed regular medication.
