Four men are behind bars after police say they caught them carrying a large object to a car early Wednesday morning, which turned out to be a deceased woman’s body.
NBC New York reports that the incident happened on Foam Place in the Far Rockaway section of Queens, at a little before 2 a.m. Wednesday. Officers on patrol spotted the men carrying something from a building and putting it in a car drunk before driving away.
The officers followed the car to Long Island, where they pulled the vehicle over and discovered the woman wrapped in a blanket in the trunk. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
ABC 7 reports that all four men were arrested. Charges against the suspects are currently pending.
So far, authorities have not released the woman’s identity. Check back for updates.
