Three children missing in Texas after mom is found shot to death; boyfriend may have taken them

Police are urgently searching for three children whose mother was found dead of a possible homicide.

According to ABC 13, police responded to a call about a possible suicide in West Houston early Friday morning and found an unidentified woman fatally shot in the face. The door to the residence had reportedly been kicked in, and the woman’s body was covered in a sheet.

Police are reportedly investigating the woman’s death as a possible homicide, and are urgently searching for the woman’s three children, who are missing along with the woman’s boyfriend, who is a person of interest in the woman’s death. Investigators reportedly believe the boyfriend left in the woman’s car, and may have the three children with him.

“It’s suspicious. He left in her car. We don’t know. He didn’t wait at the scene to talk to us. It’s very suspicious. Homicide is en route,” Lt. E Pavel said. “Our main concern right now is the three kids, trying to get ahold of the family to see where the three kids are. We want to make sure they’re not with person of interest.”

According to the report, the boyfriend is driving a gold Toyota Camry with paper tags.

Police have not yet named him a suspect or issued an AMBER Alert.
