UPDATE

Missouri police confirmed Tuesday that a missing Kansas City toddler has been found safe. No other details have been released.

Original Story

Missouri authorities are searching for a 2-year-old Kansas City boy who hasn’t been seen since Sunday.

According to the Kansas City Star, Ventes Bailey was last seen in the 100 block of West 39th Street on Sunday night, at around 8 p.m. The child’s parents reportedly told police that the boy could be with someone named “Pumpkin,” otherwise known as 33-year-old Ashlea Gray.

ABC 9 reports that Gray also goes by the name Ashlea Handy. It’s unclear how she knows the toddler or what their relationship is.

Ventes is described as a Black male who stands 2-feet-5-inches tall. He has black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing blue basketball shorts and a yellow Nike T-shirt.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the police or the Crimestoppers Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
