Crime Stories with Nancy Grace: ‘Cult Mom’ Lori Vallow Death Penalty for Murdering Her Two Children?

Lori Vallow Daybell will stand trial for the deaths of her two children. On Monday, an Idaho court found Lori Vallow Daybell fit to stand trial. Seventh District Judge Steven Boyce ordered Daybell’s release from the Department of Health and Welfare after reviewing three evaluation reports.

Daybell has been undergoing treatment since last summer, but she will now be transferred from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare to Fremont County police custody. Daybell’s arraignment is April 19.

The two children, JJ and Tylee, vanished in September 2019. Their remains were found on Chad Daybell’s property in June 2020.
