Milwaukee Police High-speed Chase of Stolen Vehicle Reveals 2 Young Girls Behind Wheel

A pursuit Friday morning in Milwaukee ended with police arresting two young girls who allegedly stole a car.

According to Fox 6, the incident at around 2:21 a.m. when Milwaukee officers spotted a car matching the description of a vehicle that had been reported stolen. When the officers tried to stop the vehicle, the driver reportedly sped away.

The car ultimately crashed during a chase with the officers after a 15-year-old driver crashed into an unoccupied car on 34th and Juneau Avenue, then came to a stop at 27th and Juneau Avenue. Police said a 12-year-old girl was also inside.

Both suspects sustained minor injuries and are expected to be OK. The older teen was taken to an area hospital for treatment, while the younger child was treated at the scene.
