MATTIE’S CALL: Missing Teen Girl Leaves Home for Bus Stop, Never Makes it to School

Georgia police are searching for a Clayton County girl who hasn’t been seen since Monday morning.

According to Fox Atlanta, 16-year-old Syriana Gregg left her home on East Meyers Drive in Morrow and headed for the school bus stop in the neighborhood. Her family contacted police when Syriana never made it to school and never returned home.

Police issued a Mattie’s Call, which is the state of Georgia’s emergency alert for missing elderly people or those with disabilities. Police said Syriana has numerous “mental illnesses.”

Syriana is described as a Black female who stands 5-feet-5-inches tall with brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information on the teen’s whereabouts should contact the Clayton County Police Department at 770-477-3550.
