Police Seek Tips in Deadly Shooting That Killed Teen Mother, Injured 4-month-old Baby

Oklahoma City police are searching for a suspect involved in a shooting incident that killed a young mother and injured her 4-month-old baby.

Oklahoma’s News 4 reports that the incident happened on November 8 in the 2500 block of S.E. 51st St. in Oklahoma City, a little before 9:30 a.m. According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, the victim, identified as Princess Stevenson, 18, arrived at a home in the area to pick up someone while holding her daughter in her arms when a driver of a black sedan sped by and started shooting.

Stevenson was rushed to a local hospital and pronounced dead. Her infant was injured but survived the incident.

Police released security footage this week in connection to the shooting. Although grainy, it’s all they have for now, according to Sgt. Dillon Quirk, with the Oklahoma City Police Department.

“Someone from the inside of that vehicle began shooting from the inside of the vehicle, struck the victim,” Dillon said.
